Dance Teachers Hone Skills at Conference

Chicago, Illinois was our home for the weekend as we submerged ourselves into the world of dance. Teachers attended seminars about classroom management, utilizing props, communicating, studio culture, and so many more topics. Ms. Sophia’s favorite quote from the weekend:

This weekend was a wonderful opportunity for our faculty to continue their education, brainstorm, cast vision, and prepare for another year of serving our BSFAS family.

Along with our teaching faculty, Mr. Michael, Charlie, and two of our BSFAS company members and aspiring teachers also attended the conference with us. Our company dancers were given the opportunity to demonstrate and receive corrections in a class with Ms. Juric from Power Dance.

In the evenings we escaped to downtown for a little bit of excitement—ICE CREAM, from Ben & Jerry’s and Ghirardelli’s. You could say that we firmly believe that ice cream is a staple for success.
